Our first web project was to find or create an advocacy and develop a simple website. I chose Out of Sight; an Organization overseas created by English Teachers in Kagawa, the part of Japan I had lived and worked in. Their original site was developed in Microsoft Front page and they were in need of a new website.

I developed a site that had an easy navigation structure. Information was reorganized in a more logical format with information on how to contact OOS and donate to their cause.

For my E-learning project, I thought it would be a great idea to have a well rounded website that dealt with the history, types and preparation of sushi and sashimi.

The site is a combination HTML navigation and Flash sections for the various galleries, and instructional sections. One of the best parts of the site is the rich imagery that informs the user on the breadth of this cuisine.

For our 2nd year database design project we were given the task of creating a database and a website using PHP and MYSQL. I chose to do a site where users could login and create a profile and upload their favourite drink recipe.

Noh-moo (Japanese for "To Drink") is a web 2.0 site where users can create a profile, upload images and recipes and share with other members. Users can post comments on other recipes and have favourites.

Between first and second year I had the opportunity to work on two independent projects. NARSF was my first website that I designed for a client. It served them sufficiently though the company is growing and a redesign is in the works.

As a cumulation to our 10 day design class we were given the assignment to think of a story and portray it in the format of a story from beginning to end.

I chose to portray the seasons. The words do not have meaing but the pictures created out of the text attempt to portray the changing of the seasons from Spring, through Summer and Fall and finally Winter.

My second summer project was a site for a client that is an Accounting and Business Managment Professional in need of a website. She wanted something that was clean and simple.

The site had to portray all her information, her educational and career history as well as information from previous clients and her current volunteer projects with charities.
